THE semi-final line-up for the Digicel Cup in Fiji has been decided after the last round robin match saw Digicel Lautoka fight hard for an 11-5 win over Digicel Nadi at Churchill Park on Wednesday night.
The win means the Maroons moved into the third spot ahead of Digicel Suva on the Digicel Cup points table.
This means Digicel Lautoka will meet Digicel Nadroga at Lawaqa Park in the semi-final on August 14, while Digicel Suva drops to fourth spot and will face table toppers Digicel Naitasiri in their semi-final at Ratu Cakobau Park on August 7.
The final will be played on August 21 at a venue yet to be decided.
Digicel Nadi opened the scoring in the 30th minute with a try from prop Bese Biunimasi, which Taniela Driu failed to convert.
Digicel Nadi took this lead into half-time until Digicel Lautoka hit back in the 50th minute. Bill Wilson scored for the side, which national fullback Jaoji Dakuvula failed to convert to leave scores at 5-5.
Lautoka sent in another Fiji rep, Taniela Rawaqa, and this paid dividends instantly.
Rawaqa kicked two penalties in the 66th and 79th minute to guide Lautoka home.
